  8. FIFA don't steal anything you ass. It was your government who put the bid
in for Brazil not FIFA. Countries have to enter a bid to host the World
Cup, they aren't just picked by FIFA. Also FIFA didn't demand that your
government build multi billion dollar stadium and construction projects,
that was your government. This has nothing to do with FIFA and now we know
what Brazil is like and what a shit hole it is in. I suggest that the IOC
get together and immediately ban Brazil from hosting the Olympics in 2016
for the safety of fans. The Brazilian people celebrated when their country
won the bud and pushed for the government to host it. Now it's here they
complain. They just wanted the eyes of the world on them to voice their
problems. Sorry but World Cup is about football and togetherness, not about
    politics.

Oh my god. I thought the "HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE" stereotype for Brazil was
excessive. Oh my god, I'm dying of laughter here.

  10. I love the World Cup, but this is just horrible. The fact that the country
spent billions on building stadiums that probably won't be used ever again.
It's stupid, that money needs to go to education and healthcare! I know
everyone blames FIFA for the mess and it is partly their fault, but don't
forget it was the Brazilian government who put in the bid to host the World
Cup in their own country. They should be the ones out of power after this
    catastrophe has ended.

activist the real ones who suffer for the poor conditions are the people in
favelas etc, are mostly ignorant when it comes to this and they just follow
    the cup religiously.

Next time FIFA may host the World Cup in the private gardens of its
    officials. Problem solved. Costs reduced.

  14. I think people are just fed up of been fooled. Using buses in most parts of
the major cities is a nightmare. I used a suburban train in São Paulo once,
that, if you enter with your arms up you won't be able to put it down for a
long time because of too much people in the wagon. And buses are not much
    better.

Now, it is obvious that they could put more buses in service, why don't
they? In my opinion it is to make the life of the poor more unpleasant so
they will work harder for the money they print. They will buy and use more
    cars, and so on.
